Anyone who’s visited our coffee shops or dropped in to see us at the roastery will know we’re fond of a playlist. Because what’s a party without great music?
But this year, we’ve decided to share some of the music we’re roasting, pouring and partying to with our incredible coffee community (spoiler alert – that’s you guys). Each month we’re asking our favourite Party People to compile a playlist that defines them. We’re talking anthems to accompany a slow Sunday morning, a Friday night out-out, or an impromptu road trip – anything goes.
First up is Hannah, Co-Manager of our London locations (Party at Pavilion, Party at Moorgate).
‘The playlist is about good beats and good vibes. Something I’d put on if we were busy in the shop, or before I go out on a Friday night.
I can’t pick just one specific style of music as my favourite, but I’ll never turn down a good throwback (let’s not forget the 2021 Black Eyed Peas revival). As long as I can have a boogie, I don’t mind what’s on!’
Hannah started her Roasting Party journey as a speciality coffee rookie, having come to work with us from the cheese shop next door to our Chelsea cafe. She completed her training with flying colours, kept up with the pace at Pavilion Road (our busiest location), and moved up through the ranks to become Co-Manager of all our London sites.
A cricket-loving Kiwi, Hannah loves to travel to find new friends, adventures and the occasional tattoo.
