We’re all about good vibes, great friends and exceptional coffee.

HELLO. WE'RE THE ROASTING PARTY.

We've got Aussie roots, and a simple mantra: good coffee shouldn't be complicated, and it definitely shouldn't be pretentious. We roast specialty coffee, but want to make it simple and fun for everyone, which is why we do things a little differently:

We do things a little differently around here.

ETHOS
If you asked our founders why the Roasting Party exists, they'd say it's all because of people. People who know good coffee is more than just a drink, it's an experience. Something for everyone. Made possible by sharing knowledge, fun and proper good chats.
COFFEE
We approach every roast as we do every coffee drinker, as individuals. Refining each recipe to deliver a cup that’s consistently bold – never bitter – with perfectly balanced, moreish flavours. So, whatever your drink of choice – a classic party blend or a banging single origin, with milk or without – you’ll always experience a cup of our coffee exactly as we intended.
TEAM
Aussie-influenced and founder led, we’re a small, spirited team of creative thinkers, coffee drinkers: people who bring personality to the bar. Coffee is our calling. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kirby’s love for good food started young – his earliest memories set in the kitchen of his parents’ hotel. A former squash player (Australian No. 1 and National Under-19s Champion), he always knew his path would lead back to hospitality.

His work ethic is formidable, but his philosophy simple – family first. And he’s proud to call the Roasting Party team 'family'.

Ivan

Hailing from the shores of Lake Como (not the George Clooney side), luckily for us Ivan took the leap to leave Italy, and his engineering degree, to pursue his love for hospitality.

Over the past 4 years, Ivan has trained over 1,000 budding baristas in all things Roasting Party.

Luke

HEAD OF WHOLESALE

Luke’s been partying with us since 2016, looking after all things wholesale, as well as getting stuck in with the roasts. A former golf club pro and another of our squash champs, he’s a team player through and through.

Luke’s first day on the coffee circuit was spent being trained by the formidable Gwilym Davies (World Barista Champion 2009 and a pioneer of speciality coffee in the UK), before rising through the ranks in both commercial and premium coffee roles.

The backbone of the business, our accounts team makes sure our customer support runs as smooth as our coffee.

Each brings their own flavour to the party, but all agree on a couple of key principles – a love for dogs, and a work hard, play hard attitude.

Hannah came to us as a speciality coffee rookie. Completing her training with flying colours, she went on to become Co-Manager of all our London sites.

A cricket-loving Kiwi, Hannah loves to travel to find new friends, adventures, and spontaneous tattoos.

We’ve been lucky enough to have Tim on board since we opened on Pavilion Road in 2017.

Since then, his star quality has been recognised by London’s theatrical elite, and he now lists Motown the Musical on his resume, alongside a teaching role at a London stage school.

Luckily for us, when he’s not treading the boards in the West End, he can still be found serving cracking coffees across all our London locations.

Ernie was never meant to be a permanent fixture at the roastery, but after one visit (and a lot of love from our team) it became clear he’d found his spiritual home. You’ll find Ernie stretched out under George’s desk, or trying his luck at the nearby food truck.

For Lucky, coffee is home. His family in Indonesia always had a pot on the go – filter with condensed milk, Vietnamese style, if you’re interested – and he’s since served in some of the best restaurants and luxury hotels in the UK.

A super chilled guy who likes his coffee iced and his swimming cold, these days you’ll find him giving hands-on support to café owners and baristas across the UK as part of our wholesale team.
